Honey Badgers division

Playing in this age division is a great way to get more playing time than the middle school teams and prepare for the competitiveness of high school. Teams play against nearby towns in South Jersey. South Jersey Field Hockey league, a competitive travel league of 20 towns in the south Jersey area from Cinnaminson to Woodstown. It will really help to raise your player’s game by playing for a longer season than the middle schools. Plus, it is great to have the Cherry Hill girls play together in preparation for high school at HS East or West! Players will improve stick skills, learn field strategy, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Players will be split by skill into an A and B division for skilled and new players during the first few weeks.

Practices start mid-August at Cherry Hill HS East, on Mondays and Thursdays 6-8:00 pm. All players in this age division practice together, and only on turf (sneakers).

Regular season games are played over 6 Sundays, starting after Labor Day. (skip weekend of tournament) There are 8 games played at the opponent’s field in South Jersey or home at Cherry Hill High School East. We play games on turf and grass, and will have at least one home game.

Playoffs are the last weekend of October for the top 8 teams in the league.
